President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour, who lost his life in a terrorist attack in Peshawar Saturday evening. The President, in his condolence message, paid glowing tribute to Bashir Ahmad Bilour for his services for the province and the country.

His sacrifice will not go in vain and the government will continue fighting the militant mindset till its complete elimination, he added. He said Bashir Bilour fought against the militants courageously and sacrificed his life for the noble cause. The President expressed his sympathies with the bereaved family over the irreparable loss and prayed to the Almighty to grant courage to the family to bear the loss with fortitude. President Zardari also expressed his sympathies with the families of other martyrs, who lost their lives as a result of the blast. The President directed the authorities concerned to provide the best medical assistance to the injured.
